trackaCourse - this year and next
This application is designed to provide online assessment for a range of vocational courses. At the start we will be aiming to provide support primarily to BTEC courses but other courses will come online during 2010. As course specifications are changing from 2010 trackaCourse will support these changes.

If you have a subscription you could find that one class is following the old specification while another is following the new specification - trackaCourse is designed to deal with this mix of specifications. This will include the change from points to credits and the change from Key Skills to Functional Skills.

Diplomas
All course configurations supplied to schools and colleges are customized to meet that school or college. To that end we can configure most course to meet your specification. At the start we are concentrating on BTEC courses but this will extend to the Diplomas and other qualifications in due course.

Local standalone versions
It is hoped to have a standalone version that can be installed on a school or college intranet by September 2010. This can then be managed locally with updates supplied as course specifications change.
A portable read-only data version is also under consideration for cases where a wireless link is not available. In this version data would be exported to the read-only version for independent use.
